Right handed lower middle order blocker and right arm seam bowler, capable of bowling big swinging leg-side wides. He has knocked a stump out of the ground three times in his career so far as well as hitting an astronomical five DLF maximums.
Initially believed to be a batsman as a child, it soon became apparent that this was a misjudgement and that Bullivant, by process of elimation, must be a bowler after several low scores in the Sunday 2nd XI. Expectations increased with his first five-wicket hauls in the 3rd XI, the first including a hat-trick against Studley.
Eventually the "Trent Express", as he is occasionally known as, managed to break into the 2nd XI captained by Steve Franklin, cementing a place with 6-23 against Moseley Ashfield and thus proving the previous captain wrong in his assertion that “Bully and Skidder shouldn’t bowl in the same team”.
He was made captain of the Saturday 1st XI in 2010 on the back of being a one-season-wonder in 2009, having taken 44 wickets including 3 five-wicket hauls and a best of 7-36. He had previously captained the Sunday sides with a pinch or two of success and a career best bowling performance of 8-5 against Sheldon Marlborough as they were bowled out for 17 in the Sunday 2nd XI.
Bullivant can be followed on Twitter @Bully_eleven where he can be normally be found stalking Danni Wyatt. He is also a member of the 'Snobs posse', a group that includes David Julian Budden, Robert Perry, Joe "Stalker" Cherry and an often wayward Pete "Pistol" Green.
